attentive, highly courteous staff at reception desk. newly renovated & pet-friendly room with really comfortable beds. large restaurant for dinner or bar meals.

Free parking on site provided. Marvellous and beautiful location for visiting pubs and bars.

The service is exceptional, includes good parking. The hotel offers immaculate and neat rooms with bar, 3 single beds and plenty storage, I am very pleased about that. The best thing is location - near the Highlands has to offer, restaurant.

This hotel suits me perfectly, with free wi-fi, a bar, and helpful staff. I remember the wonderful assistance with printing during my first stay. I highly recommend it. I'm coming back for Christmas!

Lovely breakfast each morning, stunning location to what is a beautiful area. Reasonably good staff members from the receptionists to the wee lassie that served us breakfast, decent size and recently renovated rooms.

Situation is good.

The recently updated room wassuper clean and cozy. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety, which exceeded my expectations from my previous stay in newtonmore.

The Double Room was super spacious and clean. Beds were comfy, a big plus. They had good storage, a decent TV, and a nice shower. The bathroom was super clean too. Only issue was some noise from other rooms, but it wasn't too disruptive. Pretty good for a night's stay!

Reason we chose Highlander was we were going to the the open golf at castle stewart,could not get a hotel any nearer.this apart could not have had a more friendly hotel,all staff are to be complimented,room was clean and comforuble food very good,everyone most helpful

The Highlander Hotel was lovely, the staff could not do enough for us. The food was excellent with a varied choice on both the dinner and breakfast menu to suit everyone. I read a review of the hotel before we went and was a wee bit concerned but to be honest I think that particular reviewer must have been staying at a different hotel!!. The bedroom was excellent - we brought our dog and sometimes when you include a dog in your booking you can tend to be given a room not quite so nice - but ours was perfect. We will certainly be back - already planning a wee trip with a three of my friends in September.
